LAUNCH X431 PRO3S+ EV – professional EV diagnostic tool

LAUNCH X431 PRO3S+ EV is a professional diagnostic kit for diagnosing electric and hybrid cars and their high-voltage traction batteries. The tool enables full-system diagnostics, active tests, adaptation and coding of vehicle control units, as well as analysis of the traction battery condition down to the voltage and temperature data of individual cells.

Also suitable for conventional passenger cars: this is a fully featured X431 diagnostic tool for passenger cars, with additional diagnostics for electric and hybrid cars and high-voltage batteries. The tool can also diagnose supported petrol and diesel passenger cars.

Main functions

Full-system diagnostics; control unit identification; reading and clearing fault codes; live data; active tests / bidirectional control; adaptation; ECU coding; online coding; control unit topology; Auto VIN and automatic vehicle identification; creating, printing and sharing diagnostic reports.

Traction battery diagnostics

Traction battery diagnostics via OBD-II or, on supported vehicles, directly from the battery pack using special EV diagnostic cables; battery management system fault codes; number of battery modules; SOC, or state of charge; SOH, or battery health; individual cell voltages; cell and module temperatures; comparison of differences in cell voltages; live battery system data; identification of a faulty cell or battery module.

Service and special functions

Service interval reset; ABS system bleeding; electric parking brake service; light and window settings; 48 V MHEV system testing and other supported service and special functions.
